(60,513 posts)before they see the sun...and that they are well watered when they finally do. I plant most everything crowded, and rarely lose a seedling...but using a soilless mix like metromix makes it really possible.

(18,219 posts)I have never used a soilless mix before. I end up doing a lot of work at the beginning, planting the seeds each separately. But then again, I don't do the numbers that you do.
Do you use tweezers to handle those little seedlings when transplanting? Or is it just gentle hands?
