Some of the bulbs I planted last fall are starting to come up!

Just the very tips of my iris are starting to show. Really excited about these because I bought about 30 of them off a lady on craigslist and can't remember how many varieties she gave me, three or four ranging in color from pink to a deep purple, hoping she threw a yellow one in. I also planted a boatload of blue hyacinth in a patch of my yard where the grass is sketchy. Their leaves have started poking up, too.

Spring is really on the way!

The neighbor's pink tree is blooming (I have no idea what kind) and it's always the first around here. I even have a few dafs blooming in the front yard.

Spring done sprung

I am envious of your new Iris garden! I have tall gladiolas in the front that flop over without supports, and I want to replace them with irises.
I went Iris and grape Hyacinth shopping the other day at Winco, but all they had left was a plain purple Iris, and I already have bearded purple, so I bought white summer dafs, Sparaxis and Ixias. Maybe next year for the Iris

when you start to see life return. I have a couple of yellow crocuses blooming, but the weather is horrid. I can't feel too excited on a day like today, but I do know it is coming.
