I'm growing it for the edible greens. The stems, flower buds, and seeds are also all safe for consumption.
Your Mexican Flame Vine is beautiful. But it's outside my zone.

The deer would probably eat cardboard here if I drew colorful flowers on it. They will definitely dead head flowers before the blooms are finished opening. 😀
