It is mid January - spring lies ahead! What are you all currently doing re gardening activities?

I am doing the best job of procrastinating on answering gardening emails and fulfilling seed requests. I must get that done within the next few weeks.
I am also prepping for a few upcoming activities - a 3 hour "ask me anything" at nearby Sow True Seeds in Asheville next Saturday, 2 presentations at an event near Rock Hill SC on Feb 22, and some talks for the Veterans Healing Farm
I am also working to see if I can find a publisher for my third book (Dwarf Tomato Project) that will let me write the book I want - if not, I will self publish and need to get that done this calendar year

Otherwise - got my seeds ordered, and am working on planning what I will be growing where, and how. I do a mix of strawbales and containers and start my own seeds. My target seed start date is March 1 - with a plant out date of May 1.

What are you all up to in the gardening arena?

The rest ain't eatin' yet, so ain't important yet.
Somewhere abouts Valentines Day, also weather permittin', I might weed the daffodil beds, then the Iris beds. They come up in that order.
