IIIIII WWWIIINNNNNNN!!!!!

ugh. getting my farm off the ground has been a brain numbing universe of problems to solve. of course. but one was- what was the cost of getting soil going on this ancient beach, slightly filled in with soil.
i have a hole to fill where the house used to be that i wanted to fill hugelculture style (shout out to gato moteado on this one.), and needed odd materials like rotten logs.
well, i flagged down a landscaper and he wanted to know could he dump 4 trucks today. he can bring me plenty of rotten logs, mixed plants and soil from scraping, and grass clippings all summer.
he is even throwing in taking down a small tree.
it might be full by next week. i was planning on it taking a year.
i could actually be planting this year.
clunk.

You win, the landscaper wins, the landfill (or wherever that might have ended up) wins. What a great idea to involve a landscaper in this!

You're the woman!!!!!!
