Sometimes they can produce a VERY disappointing garlic bulb. So far, this year, they are not disappointing me.

7 to 10 days before any scheduled surgery because it has anti-clotting properties. So do turmeric and ginger.

Just transplanted one patch to a sunny location this year. All made the move well, but it'll be year before they really grow.
