What's for Dinner, Fri., March 14, 2025

Broccoli cheddar soup.

Cornbread made in the cast iron skillet on my stovetop

Big green salad with tomato, cucumber, scallion, and peppers. Homemade 1000 Island dressing. Rye croutons.

Kombucha: blueberry ginger.

Dessert: hazelnut cookies and hot Earl Grey tea.

garlic, rosemary and thyme. Black pepper also of course. The finest catsup Hunt's had on the shelf. Followed with red potatoes and carrots. A helping, or more, of double chocolate/chocolate chip cookies will follow with cold whole milk. Then after a nap I may indulge in some Mackinac Island Fudge Ice Cream.

5. Broiled Salmon

Sockeye salmon fillets basted with evoo, seasoned with black pepper and paprika. Broiled to perfection. Made a dill sauce of plant-based plain yogurt, fresh chopped dill and lemon juice. Sides were steamed cabbage and sliced mushrooms and microwaved purple sweet potatoes. Cheers! 🥂
