Did you know you could put a frozen lasagna from the store in a slow cooker and it's actually better than baking it in the oven? I tried this and loved it, so I did it again with a different brand. I prefer the first brand over the second, but will try all the brands. It's so easy. I added parmesan.
Layered broccoli salad. The layers are grated Cheddar. Dried cranberries (or cherries). Mixture of mayo and yogurt stirred with cider vinegar and agave. Salad dressing is spread over the entire salad, then sprinkled with cashews. Chopped turkey bacon, too.
Kombucha: strawberry pear.
Dessert: Pear slices and Brie.

(33,692 posts)had their pot pie and house salad. I had the beer battered shrimp platter, french fries and house salad. The waitress brought out our drinks first with a croissant with icing on them. By god, they were really good.
Eat dessert first!
La Coliniere
(1,354 posts)Chopped romaine, shredded cabbage, minced red onion, fresh mung bean sprouts, shredded carrots, tossed in TJ’s Peanut Thai Dressing. Topped with chopped smoked tofu, peanuts and scallions. A few squirts of fresh lime juice to finish it off. Apple crisp for dessert. Cheers! 🥂

(39,494 posts)I've seen it before and almost bought it but I have a sort of distrust of that particular sauce purchased. What's your opinion?
Peanut butter is hard to work with. Messy, too. I would love it if it was a good sauce and I could quit making my own.
La Coliniere
(1,354 posts)but I only use it on occasion because of the high sugar content. A bottle lasts me a few months. Have used it both as a salad dressing and a stir-fry sauce.

I 'm on a new kick to try to cut that out . Has to do with something I read on brain plasticity.
Maybe I'll try my own again with a low gi sweetener.
Thanks for the response.
