Angel Hair Pasta With Shrimp

Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp is a quick and elegant dish that combines the delicate, thin strands of pasta with tender, juicy shrimp, all tossed in a light, garlicky butter sauce with a hint of lemon and white wine. This meal is perfect for weeknights when you want something simple yet sophisticated, or for impressing guests with minimal effort. The flavors of garlic, lemon, and fresh herbs elevate the shrimp, while the angel hair pasta provides a satisfying base that doesn’t overpower the dish. A sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes adds a nice finishing touch.

Ingredients:
12 oz angel hair pasta
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
1/2 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 cup unsalted butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:
Cook the angel hair pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
In the same skillet, pour in the white wine (or chicken broth) and lemon juice. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to slightly reduce.
Stir in the butter until melted, then add the cooked angel hair pasta and toss to coat. Add the shrimp back to the skillet, stirring gently to combine.
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.

Enjoy your Angel Hair Pasta with Shrimp with a glass of white wine for the perfect finishing touch! ((IF ONLY!!!))

I have NONE of the above, and too windy to get to grocery, so I'll just dream!

But, my wife & I prefer a more toothsome pasta so I wouldn't use Cappelli.
I would use all the other ingredients plus a few extra spices.
