A slice of my turkey loaf that I made last night, which is layered with grilled green peppers and Swiss cheese. I also put in finely minced onion and grated carrot. A couple eggs to bind it. I put it in my slow cooker so it's very tender.
Asian cucumber salad with mirin and toasted peanuts.
Blueberry kombucha.
Unfortunately PostImage is doing maintenance so I couldn't get my turkey loaf posted, however, I was able to post it at Imgur. I can't tell how to get a link at Imgur that will show up here, but here it is:

Later when PostImage is through with maintenance, I'll post it there.

(5,117 posts)Made it last night. Thinly sliced potatoes, cheese sauce (roux, white wine, milk, chicken stock, 4 types of cheese), sautéed onions and spinach, ham (from freezer, Easter leftovers), all layered and baked. Yum! The furnace is getting fixed tomorrow morning so I was looking for a reason to bake something that took an hour plus, just to warm up the house a little.
Side salad.
Lady Grey hot tea to drink.
Chocolate Chips for dessert. They were supposed to be for cookies. Oops.

(6,561 posts)I cooked the pork in my pressure cooker last week and froze what we didn't eat then. I'm going to steam the green beans and then toss them in oil and garlic. For the slaw I use a bag of the organic, shredded slaw mix from Whole Foods, and I toss in some Marie's coleslaw dressing. The tomatoes are organic, on the vine, and they look amazing.

(29,833 posts)dinner rolls with crabapple jelly.
Neighbor down the road came here around a month ago with her adopted daughter from Columbia and picked crabapples to make jelly. She brought me a small jar and boy is it good 👍.

(1,760 posts)I roasted carrots, parsnips and shallot, floured pork chops and sauteed them. When the chops were brown, I sauteed an apple and some onion. Then made a sauce with some of the flour for the chops, added maybe a cup of apple cider and a splash of apple cider vinegar. When it had thickened, I added the pork chops and the carrot and parsnip and cooked it all together. Sides were the last of the farmers market green beans and Bosnian bread from last night's dinner out.

(71 posts)I made a pie with ground turkey, mashed sweet potatoes and turkey stuffing (all mixed up inside). It was quite tasty. Could have done with a bit of salt, but that was my only complaint.
