I haven't eaten it yet and I admit that I'm concerned about having too many flavors on the plate.

I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately, iris. There's quite a a bit going on.

We learned that Al's prostate tumor is at Stage 2, and that it's a rather aggressive form of cancer. This news has overwhelmed Al to the point that he's "frozen-up" instead of actively chasing treatment. I'm afraid that if he doesn't move soon, treatment will be either less-effective or not effective.

So, some scary stuff happening here. Unfortunately, the food threads that usually bring me joy are just not doing that these days.

Al did call the doctor's office yesterday to schedule his surgery.

However, all he could do is leave a message for the scheduler who has yet to call back.
