was gifted 6 (!!!) heads of iceberg lettuce so wedge salads it is. got some bottled chunky "blue" cheese for the 2 that want that. I will be having homemade ranch with feta. a few chunks of tomato, onion, and BACON. perfect for a hot day, only had to cook the bacon pieces. nothing else!

5. I haven't bought iceberg in at least 10 years

but these were so easy. summer dinner is often some kind of grilled meat on a garden salad.

We’ve had 100+ temps for at least a week. Nonsense in heating up the kitchen. We’ve been eating lots of salads.

I’ve discovered that Jack Link thick cut bacon jerky popped in the microwave for about 50 seconds is outstanding. No frying. Very tasty.

3. Wedge salads are the best ever!

I brought a tray of mini wedge salads to a picnic last year and everyone raved about them.
