Won't have time to cook today since my handywoman is here for the afternoon. I'll have the rest of my chicken matzoh ball soup.
I'll make a salad, though, with cherry tomatoes, Persian cuke, and red onion. I found these giant black olives to put in, too. (benefit of cleaning out cabinets) Caesar dressing.
Tart cherry kombucha.
I didn't even have dessert last night, so I'll have the chocolate bar square I'd planned. Fell right asleep. All this gardening is tiring.

(558 posts)Dressing: 2 tsp finely chopped garlic, 2 T fresh lemon juice, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 4 T peanut oil (or olive oil if Im out)
Cabbage, carrots, bell pepper. Can put dressing on vegetables 1-3 hours before serving. Top with fresh parsley if desired. Also good on a fresh spinach salad (do not dress spinach leaves until right before serving).

dessert is a few squares from a chocolate bar (dark chocolate).
