(38,980 posts)4. LOL... it was just a meatloaf that I made...
that came out really good.
My meatloaf recipe is pretty basic (ground beef, egg, bread crumbs...) but I typically also add some VERY FINELY diced aromatics to it.
I "sweat" (soften) some onions, carrots, celery, bell pepper, garlic and rosemary leaves in a little olive oil. After it cools I add it to the other ingredients.
I always free-form my meatloaf--no loaf pan involved.
