New (to me) favorite pasta shape!

I made a creamy pesto sauce with chicken and fresh tomatoes for lunch and this pasta was perfect!

It is thick enough that you get a nice, hearty chew (but not too thick!) and the shallow spirals are just deep enough to hold sauce on each piece. The texture was extremely pleasing. Usually for this type of dish I use Farfalle. but have always wished they were slightly thicker.

The pasta is hollow but the tunnels are very small in diameter. A thin sauce would get probably get inside the pasta and that would be yum! I was really hungry so didn’t bother putting the cooked pasta in the sauce to simmer for a bit, just dumped it in a bowl and scooped sauce on top. Will properly sauce the leftovers.
