Egg Noodles with Bacon, Cabbage and Onion. This is dish I've made numerous times, but not from this recipe, which I found in Milk Street's The World in a Skillet.
The recipe description says it's a good accompaniment to sausages so if I'm that hungry I might get one that's a leftover. Doubt it, though. I like to keep it light in the evening.
I'm using turkey bacon and Napa cabbage.
Ginger lemon kombucha.
A milk chocolate square and some cashews for dessert, along with dark Chinese tea.

(22,889 posts)Chicken cacciatore with homemade sauce. We had some legs in the freezer so they'll get marinated, sautéed then tossed in the sauce.
Thinly sliced eggplant is sweating and will be breaded and fried and served with lemon and dusted with grated Parmesan cheese.
A small salad of green leaf lettuce, tomato slices, red onion rings and cucumber slivers.
Backgammon and brandy for dessert.

My super power is that I don't mind frozen pizza if it's just for me

I added some veggies: mushrooms, onions, corn, orange bell pepper and spinach.
Ice cream for dessert.
I made some Millionaire Shortbread, but it's for a party tomorrow night.

(37,897 posts)I've had one before, but I didn't know it was called "Millionaire Shortbread." Had to look that up.
