Basmati rice, sausage rolled up into small meatballs, and some black beans I'm trying to use up. I didn't get to the grocery store today. The refrigerator is overcrowded

Enjoy.

Wife called me from just down the road from our house on her way to work. She reported a dead deer in the turn lane.
Jumped in the van and headed out to do the clean up.
Poor little fork horn, deader than a door nail. But, very little damage to the meat. 😃

My wife returns from her trip tomorrow.

I'm making Hamburger Helper, Cheeseburger Macaroni flavor. How is that going all out? I added some freshly grated cheddar cheese.

has become a luxury for us. Which is okay, because fish and poultry are probably much better for us anyway. But the local market had 80/20 ground beef on sale for $1.99 a lb. You had to buy five lbs, but that's a lot of ground beef for ten bucks. I can see a meat loaf in my future when my wife returns. She makes a good one.
