Today I am baking this coffee cake for a family event we are having tomorrow--our annual family bridge tournament.

It's a pretty good recipe, and I encourage you all to try it. Just some notes of things that I do a little differently than the directions:
1) Not sure if it's my oven, or the pan I'm using, or maybe both, but I found that the cook time on this is too much. I advise checking the doneness at around 40 minutes.
2) I found that if I use all the streusel and all the glaze, the cake is too sweet for my taste. About 1/2 of each turns out okay for me.
3) I like to add about a tablespoon of orange zest to the cake batter. With the brown sugar and nuts in the streusel, I find that a kiss of orange flavor is AWESOME.

Guess I'll go straight to lunch, but no enthusiasm there, either.
