I took my beloved dog for a long walk that morning cause I knew I had an appointment later that day and would be late getting home. He ran around the neighborhood park for a good while before we walked back home. The sky was very very blue and clear that morning.

9/11 memory: going up to the attic in my new neighbor's house and watching the tower come down around 10 a.m. My neighbor had come over to borrow my landline because she couldn't reach her spouse.
