What's for Dinner, Thurs., Aug. 24, 2023

Tossed green salad with cherry tomatoes, green pepper, cucumbers, carrots, and scallion. Ranch dressing.

Thinly sliced deboned pork chops with coffee rub. I breaded them in addition to the coffee rub. Fried in a no-stick skillet using olive oil.

Pepsi Zero sugar.

Dessert: no dessert because of trump reporting to jail night. I bought a big bag of white cheddar popcorn and I'll continue with the Pepsi to drink. So excited. And happy. I've been going around happy all day and everybody I talk to says what are you so happy about? When I tell them they get happy, too. Most of them know already but a few didn't.

I might have a few Zaini chocolates, too, to cap off my "finally happening" evening.

1. Salmon baked in the oven brushed with olive oil and Perfect Pinch seasoning

Tossed salad … green leaf lettuce, garden cukes, garden tomatoes, red onion, and fresh Mozarella slices.

Cutting up my first Brandywine tomato from the garden tonight. 🙂

4. I am hoping the casino buys

At the nice steak house.
Headed there but stopped off for a cold one and some live music nearby. This joint has live music on Thursday for happy hour. Makes me happy.

What else ya gonna do on a hot day?
I stayed at home all day yesterday and I am so bored with that! Haha

5. We're going to have a pizza

I think ham, pepper and onions with extra cheese

no dessert planned. Maybe I can get all to run to Cumby's for some chocolate.

6. Stuffed peppers, Ambrosia Sweet Corn on the cob

and a toss salad. Before bedtime I will have a zucchini brownie with jello and cool whip.

9. Chicken salad...

Corn on the cob, sourdough toast, deviled eggs. To be honest this was leftover from lunch with one of my 3D buds, enjoyed with Tito’s and tonic with lemon.
