Cold cucumber soup and a sandwich made on naan bread.
The soup has yogurt, lemon juice, shallot, garlic, dill, parsley, tarragon, and olive oil. It should be easy because all I have to do is put the ingredients in the blender and give it a whirl. I found the recipe at Food & Wine's web site.
Not sure yet about the sandwich. Could be ham, tuna...probably whatever's easiest!
Blueberry basil kombucha.
Dessert: blueberries and tapioca pudding. Earl Grey.

Dad's birthday dinner was stuffed peppers, rice pilaf and corn.

(36,460 posts)We ordered in and I ordered lamb chops, a Caesar salad, and loaded baked potato. Ms K ordered an appetizer plate I think-- I only had eyes for ewe.
I still have a chop and the potato left for tomorrow.
