What's for Dinner, Mon., April 10, 2023

Udon noodles with vegetables in chicken broth. Roasted carrots, shiitakes, scallion, gochujang, and minced cilantro and peapod tendrils sprinkled over the top.

Tonight when it cools off after dark, I will put some BBQ ribs in the oven with spicy peach BBQ sauce.

Cold spicy chai tea with half 'n half and sweetened with agave.

I made a homemade fish chowder using the frozen pollock. Turns out I can't eat it. I had both seafood stock and clam juice in the pantry and without thinking I picked the seafood stock. I get violently sick if I eat mussels and this stock may contain mussels. So I hope Al likes the chowder--it's all his.

Should have used the clam juice.

Making tuna melts too.

I didn't make dessert tonight.

In hospital (Johns Hospital in Baltimore) (for tests, no emergency) and daughter's with me during the day. She's here to hold my hand (not really necessary, but nice,) so she went out to for Dunkin and Hagen Daz, and she came to room with this surprise.

Pretty good!
