Asparagus and goat cheese tart made with flaky pastry. Has herbs mixed into the goat cheese, sprinkle of lemon over the asparagus.
Chicken-roasted tomato sausages, cooked in the air fryer. So juicy that way!
Dessert will be miniature chocolate cupcakes. This time I filled some with banana. Others have chocolate chips and walnuts. Still others have sweetened cream cheese in the middle. Decaf coffee.
The First Mate jumped ship to take care of her business and my mooring neighbor is coming over later. He lives alone on his boat in Miami. Interesting full-time lifestyle.
To start, slices of Asiago cheese, pesto spread and a small loaf of Italian bread.
Spaghetti with marinara sauce. Nothing fancy but we sailors arent too demanding!
Caesar salad.
Pepperidge Farms Pirouette cookies and coffee. Maybe shots of Sambuca.

(71,023 posts)I will serve them in gluten-free baguettes which I bought from Everybody Eats in Brooklyn. I have a salad with cranberries, pepitos, and various greens. with either ranch (homemade) or poppy seed dressing. I made a pumpkin sheet cake which I will serve with homemade whipped cream for dessert.

(22,767 posts)Parmesan crusted rib eye pork chops, garlic sour cream mashed potatoes, asparagus with fresh squeezed lemon. I wasn't hungry but needed to eat something so I just had cottage cheese with chopped grape tomatoes, salt and pepper.

(10,654 posts)with ground beef, beans, tomatoes, 2 kinds of fresh peppers, 3 kinds of dried peppers, and chipotles in adobo. We belong to a gaming group that gets together every few weeks, and people take turns bringing dinner, so I'm always looking for recipes that travel well, don't require much last-minute attention, and are adaptable to a number of food preferences.
