(22,767 posts)My birthday 🎂.
with roasted tomatoes, melted mozzarella.
Decaf coffee.
Half an apple on the way to work.
I'll look forward to hearing about your birthday dinner, Emile!
I have a suggestion for those who like naan. Even at Aldi it's expensive, and even moreso at the grocery store. I have found the best value is Trader Joe's, which can be found in the frozen department. When thawed it tastes as fresh as from the bakery.
My wife is cooking dinner tonight and it really sounds good.
We plan on going out with our neighbors when they get back from Phoenix next week. Neighbors wife was born on April 1st and we usually go out every year celebrating our birthdays.

(71,023 posts)Hollandaise sauce looked perfect but did not taste good to me...my taste has been off since heart surgery which I guess is not unusual...it is better than before but still not what it was. I ate the poached eggs and save the Hollandaise sauce for hubs...he said it was perfect. Ah well, it is getting better. But as a foodie this has been torture! Happy Friday.

(22,767 posts)for a new fan motor for the AC. It was about 11a by then, so I had a Wendy's fish sandwich and fries. Their newer fish sandwich isn't as good, at least to me, as the ones they used to have. Also, no tartar sauce - mayo and pickles. I love to load a hamburger with pickles, but wasn't very good on the fish sandwich, so I took them off. Also, they drop them when ordered, so they're too friggin' hot to eat for a while.
