Decafe tea now, later this morning I have oven roasted veggies, basmati rice, a baked egg and a drizzle of sirrachia to for breakfast.

For breakfast I shall have
One egg, carefully flopped upon
A single slice of barely toasted bread
The edges which have been simply snipped
Such that the bread easily fits a porcelain bowl
That all taken with a Keurig pod slushed with water
Into a broken handled but lovable mug set on a table
Next by each a comfortable chair all facing the rising sun
Where I shall say thank you irisblue for your musings herein

(15,206 posts)Later, who knows. Im off my feet with a broken ankle at the moment, so cooking is pretty minimal. Maybe blueberries with Greek yogurt. Meanwhile, more coffee.

Sipping some hot black coffee now is helping. Will make some oatmeal latter and add dried cranberries and walnuts.

Maybe a cup of grapes later.
So sorry to hear about your ankle, spinbaby. I know you know this but best thing to do is stay off it. I sprained mine about six years ago and thankfully no arthritis or pain any more from it. It took forever like a year for the swelling on the side to go down.
