Had a late lunch at a Mediterranean restaurant. My employer took me out just to say thanks and show appreciation.
Had a crispy falafel pita which came with an absolutely huge chopped salad made up of lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumber. Loved the whipped hummus.
There were also small pitas to dip in olive oil.
Cherry kombucha and also regular hot tea.
Later if I get hungry, I'll have a few stuffed clams and some cold shrimp.
Hot decaf tea and a fresh orange for dessert.

(3,439 posts)I had not made this in a long time and forgot just how good it is! Served roasted split zucchini halves with Italian seasoning and parmesan cheese on top, and some Rao's rigatoni pasta on the side. Yum!!
