My geneaology story was just featured on The Generations Project tv show!
My episode aired tonight on the Generations Project!!
I've posted some about my family's genealogy on DU2, how I discovered through geneaology that my grandfather and his entire family emigrated from Jamaica with their passports designating them as "jewish mulattos". Then they erased that heritage - all of them - and passed as white Protestants after they landed. I'd always been told they came from Scotland... all of the siblings maintained the lie. In fact, it pretty much tore the family apart after they emigrated since they were too afraid to get together much in case they started reminiscing and gave themselves away. It's a pretty sad story altogether.
First I asked for help on clothing to wear for my appearance on the show (

Then I went up to Kingston and did my part of the program. And it just aired!! It's titled as "David" (my cousin)
I'm "Jenny", near the beginning.
Enjoy!!
