no matches yet with anyone of Asian descent. I fear that my mother may have been correct and maybe they didn't survive.

Prices are falling for DNA tests and more people are testing.

I do hope that they survived.

Let me share this with you. My Mom was angry with her sister one day so she decided to casually mention that my cousin was not her bio child but an adopted child. I didn't say a word. I immediately eliminated her words from my mind. I hit the delete button! It was like the conversation never happened.
The memory didn't surface again until I was an adult and my cousin brought up the subject of her adoption. I thought of that incident when you mentioned your brother's reaction.
