(15,199 posts)A lot of people use Fitday but I personally have found their servers to be unreliable--maybe I'll get in, maybe I won't. I like a site called Fatsecret, which syncs with a mobile app called calorie counter.

(1 post)Plenty hesitate to eat the food which they love. The only reason behind is they worry about their "calories".
Its easy to calculate the calories burnt daily
Formula :
For Male = ( 66 + ( 13.7 * Weight )+( 5 * Height ) - ( 6.8 * Age )) * Activeness
For Female = 655 + ( 9.6 * Weight ) + ( 1.8 * Height ) - ( 4.7 * Age ) * Activeness
Calculate the calories burnt daily using this Calorie Calculator.

(12,833 posts)Thanks for the calculator. I burn 2200 a day, but I don't understand how to relate this to what I eat.

(5,730 posts)It has more glitches than DT tweets. Plus, I resent the points. Calories are scientific units, points, whether for food or exercise, are person created. It is hard to relate it to 95pc of other helpful information. Very proprietary . MFP works smoothly and isn't time consuming. WW is the opposite. WW says there is online support, but it is really hundreds of stories to follow. No support groups online.
