Skipping pills because of the weather ... not good.

We’ve been snowed in for a few days and our psych drugs have run out. I’m 71 and my husband is 73 so we can’t shovel snow like we used to. I’ve been without my main drug for several days and I’m starting to feel it. My husband is now out of his main medication too. I’m bipolar and he has depression, so we’re both a mess without our meds.

Because we couldn’t get to the drugstore to pickup our meds on time, we’re going to have to reorder them, so I’m feeling stressed and worried.

I know the feeling about not being able to shovel. We have someone plow the driveway, and we shovel the walk a few feet every few days. We got out to the pharmacy and the grocery store yesterday. We live in the country.

Finding someone to plow our driveway is going to have to be a must-do for us too.

Any chance you can have your meds delivered? I am honestly having as much stuff delivered as possible, especially heavier things like the cat litter.

I’ve checked their website and it does say you can do that, so I’m going to get signed up for that as soon as possible.

Our hometown drugstore closed last year, and we have to drive to the next town now. It would be so nice to not make that drive, but especially in the winter.

We use Walgreens and it’s not as easy to have prescriptions delivered via mail as I’d hoped. It could be this particular prescription I’m working on needs to be renewed by the doctor’s office before it can be processed. I’ll have to do a deeper dive to find out what the hitch really is.
