I'm new to this - I've lost (am losing?) my ability to hear highfrequency due to chemo treatment.

I'm going to wait until the chemo is finished to buy some hearing aids becuase I'm uncertain how much worse this will get.

To show how new I am at this - I spent five minutes trying to figure out why the little bells hanging over the front door weren't making any sounds.

...to hear this. How long until you finish chemotherapy?

I had to get hearing aids about two years ago. Until tested, I didn't realize how many words I was missing in just a regular conversation, although I did realize I couldn't hear timers (stove, washer, etc.)

Best wishes to you. Please let us know how you are progressing over time.
