What have you stocked up on for Christmas?

Allergies and arthritis run rampant in my family, so with a full house for the holidays I went out and bought decongestant, cough suppressant, generic claritan, ibuprofen, sudafed, and just to be safe Tums and imodium!

We have a live tree, bought from a tree farm, a wreath and a bough. My eyes are killing me and my nose is constantly dripping. I have to have anti nausea pills here all of the time bu I alwys get Pepcid or whatever it's called. My stomach will sour at the drop of a hat so I have to be careful. With all of the aches and pains around here we always have ibuprofen and various creams. Oh how I miss my younger, healthier days sometimes.

The real problem is that we stir up a lot of dust and animal dander with all the cleaning!

We have two German Shepherds and one of them has got to shed more than any cat. They love to roll and play and track in grass, dirt, leaves and anything else under the sun. We have had winds that I believe have blown is dust from the desert. We even have seen a few tumble weeds. Poor nose and eyes don't stand a chance.

Being lactose intolerant (but a lover of dairy) I use a lot of Lactaid products; milk, cheese, ice cream, etc. During the holidays they sell an egg-nog that is delicious. If you can find it in your market give it a try!
