So- i went yesterday and had blood drawn for a number of tests -

I don't see the doctor until next week. Any one of the tests could explain why I've been losing strength and stamina. Here's hoping at least one delivers news of something treatable!

between appointments, not only did the lab lose my bloodwork, but no one at the doctor's office realized the bloodwork was missing until after I was in the examining room being questioned by the nurse about my meds!

So - how much study would the doctor have given my labs?

Time for a new doctor!

diagnosis of Sjogren's Syndrome. The problem we have is that the best known, measurable symptoms that separate this from other autoimmune disorders (dry eyes, dry mouth) are given waaaaay more attention than the real problems - fatigue and digestive issues. It's as if all the research and treatment for lupus was focused on the facial rash!
