Cancer Support
Related: About this forumHey, how's everyone doing?
It's been pretty quiet in here lately, and in this forum that worries me.
I had a PET Scan last week to see how my cancer (breast stage IV) is responding to the cancer drug. I haven't heard from my oncologist yet.
I had a CAT scan in March & it seemed to be doing it's job.
Other than that, I'm doing pretty good.
Hope you all check in.

(68,644 posts)Sounds like progress per treatment, good news!
noticed how quiet it's been in here and have been wondering how everyone is doing.
I'm glad to hear that your doing ok and hoping that you get good news on your PET Scan results.
Waiting to hear back on the results is always hard!

(21,210 posts)we met with another couple for the first time the other day at Sloan, we connected over the internet and happened to have appointments on the same day. He is facing a bone marrow transplant in September and she emailed me afterwards to say it was a relief to see how well my husband looks after his BMT.

(3,344 posts)I still light my candles every night for all of you. I will admit they don't stay lit for the whole evening like they do in the winter. I still send Reiki all four directions.
I am getting over a concussion and a bruised tail bone. I was helping my female dog get into a truck and she lurched back. All I could think of when I was getting helped up was my dad telling me I was a hard headed Irishman.
My male GSD decided he wanted to fight another dog while we were walking and I ended up eating grass. There was no fight. I am not as strong as I used to be.
My daughter moved back home, dumped the boyfriend her dad and I couldn't stand. We are doing happy dances and I am glad to say dancing hasn't made me fall. She has been keeping me busy.
My blood work is still great and no symptoms of any cancer. I think of everyone often.
