Ifosamide neurotoxicity

A friend is starting iv chemo ifosamide and I'm going to be helping her, monitoring for neurotoxicity.

I was wondering if anyone here has had experience with this drug and could share anything with me. It sounds like nasty stuff and is rather frightening and depressing. Thank you.

It’s so good that you will be looking after her. Be patient with with her because she will be cranky and needy. The best you can do is to be there when she needs you. Bring a book because she will sleep a lot.

Letting her know she’s not alone will be a big help.

My wife helped me survive the ordeal. I’m in her debt.
