Got my latest scan results

Still no sign of cancer. My radiation oncologist released me from care today, as well.

I'll still go to my maxillofacial surgeon every six months, but a lot of what they both do is redundant anyway. I'll get my future scans through my surgeon and should anything arise, I'll deal with it then.

I was surprised to be released. A little worried, but then fewer visits means less travel. I have to travel 100 miles for one doctor and over 300 miles for the other.

I suffer from lymphedema but I can get that treated locally. Mainly massages and compressions, with pain medicine when it gets too bad.

But - the good news still remains: Cancer has not returned after 2 years.

Love you all!

Solly

The doctor gave the results like there was never any doubt, but I always enter his office thinking it is going to be bad.

I was happy.

Been searching to see what's going on.

Miss seeing you on the main forums…though they have been too crazy to believe, even for DU. ; )

So glad I read this post from you, or I'd have been worried sick.

Although last night's Republican primary boosted my humor spiirits for the evening. I couldn't even watch at some times, it was so ridiculous.
