watching the new remake of "Midway" on HBO
Supposedly quite historically accurate. A few roles are well acted (Woody Harrelson), many are pretty painfully awful (Dennis Quaid). Not bad, not great, could be much better.

It's a French series of the occupation by the Germans during WWII.
Citizens of a 1940s rural French town contend with the German occupation.
If anyone watched Spiral, one of the main characters, Thierry Godard, he played Gilles 'Gilou' Escoffier.
I watch it on MHZChoice, on ROKU, which is all foreign films & series. I've subscribed for about 4-5 years @ 7.99 per month. It's not gone up in the time I have been a member.
