I'm curious how things turn out but can't watch for more than a few minutes at a time as the writing is so bland and the emotions and plot turns so forced. The actors all seem under-directed but the more seasoned players, like Taylor and Lupone, at least do their best to read their lines with pizzazz. On the plus side, the period clothes and cars are cool.
