I'm halfway through. If you haven't read the books they're worth a read (or the Audiobooks, the narrator, Jefferson Mays, is fantastic) The books are different enough to be interesting even if you've seen the series, and there's a lot more detail and backstory in the books. They did a good job adapting it to television, though. They used the adaptation to improve some of the characters, and it seems they are adjusting the narrative to play to the strengths of the medium, in ways that IMO work pretty well.
