Surely it's part fiction and part fact but I watched it all the way through. I liked that they went into the dictatorship history of Argentina in the 70s. We can always study that history after getting an abbreviated look.

Charming, humorous, intelligent and moving. The acting was exceptional and the filming beautiful. Tears in my eyes at the end. The dynamic between the two of them was well crafted. Enjoyed immensely.

7. It was an intriguing and interesting take on their relationship.

I thought Jonathan Pryce did an excellent job of recreating Pope Francis.

Of course like all of these docu-drama's you have to take the events depicted with a grain of salt. While I'm sure some of the dialogue was based on documented fact and information provided by on the scene staff, there is no way to know for sure.

But even if a small percentage of how their relationship was depicted is accurate, or Pope Francis' s positions accurately portrayed, it was a worthwhile project.

I was impressed at how well the Sistine Chapel was recreated for the filming.
