Just finished man in the high castle on amazon (spoilers)
Super excited for the next season, whenever that comes out. What are peoples' ideas of how Smith's character will be developed? And which world will juliana have teleported to?

But yeah, I felt that way about the Oakland. I forgot everything by the time season 2 was released... fortunately these shows do a good job at recapping the previous seasons before the first episode of the next season.
On edit:
I was confused. Season 4* is on it's way out.

(11,088 posts)Honestly the whole thing started off kinda slow and disturbing, but it picked itself up rather quickly. Now I cant wait till the next season!

(11,088 posts)I thought it gets way better at the end of season one. Season 2 is really good and season 3 was amazing. Basically it gets progressively better as the show continues

(25,715 posts)I really didn't get that was happening until I think it was in the 2nd season, Julia is shown married to the son of Nobusuke Tagomi and has a child. Also at the end of season 1 Tagomi wakes up and he's in a totally different USA. One where the Japaneses didn't win WWII. Of course there are also the films showing an alternate war where the US is winning the war. But I didn't put it all together. If anything, I thought we may have been living in someone's dreams.
I didn't get the whole alternate universe theme until season 3. I guess if you've read the book you knew that right from the start, but I didn't read the book. I just found the series interesting from a alternate history viewpoint; what our lives would have been had we lost WWII.
