OP
We are steaming through it - it is absolutely superb. And very sobering and worrying.

(14,964 posts)1. My teenage son and his girlfriend
were watching in the living room, I walked in I truly thought someone had died. They were both sobbing. (I haven't seen him cry in years, so I was quite alarmed) They have been watching parts of the series at school, so they have been watching ahead.

(32,075 posts)2. I just watched the 1st episode
and was blown away by the photography. Brilliant images and studies of fish, birds, animals, and glaciers. Looking forward to watching more episodes.

Some of those short sequences took weeks, and even moths, to get.
I've done a little wildlife still photography and that was tough enough. The amount of skill, time, and expense to get this level of video is almost unimaginable.
