Anyone check out "The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann"?
Thoughts? I'm personally in the camp the parents were involved, I think it was an accident and the cover up massive. I'm wondering if I would find it interesting?

(29,804 posts)the latest conjecture on the subject I've heard is she was kidnapped by sex traffickers . A horrific thought.

(14,964 posts)are so many details that don't add up, including the corpse/blood sniffing dogs, the mother refusing to answer like 100 questions (?), etc.
I followed this story very closely when it happened. I wonder if there is anything new?

(29,804 posts)Since you've watched the first, I will do that - I'm home, so I think I'll watch it right now, in fact, and get back to you when I'm done Then we can see if we want to continue. How's that?

(29,804 posts)And I'm afraid I have to agree with Virogirl -- way too many superfluous vids, tangential interviews, etc....I thought it would concentrate on the case itself, but it seems to wander every which way.. I could barely get through episode 2.

(14,964 posts)really is an interesting case. This is all over the place. Plus I guess it's pushing the human trafficking angle. I personally don't think that at all, but I've followed since the begininng. Sorry, thought it would be better.

(29,804 posts)I may watch a little more, just to see if I can glean any more information. No need to be sorry, dewsgirl!... You gave me your honest impressions, complete with your reservations about it.

(6,498 posts)I cannot believe people can really believe otherwise. The dogs looked and acted as if they were directed to certain places by the handler. I am still so sad about Madeline and hope someone did adopt her. She was such a pretty little girl.

(8,422 posts)There isn't a shred of motive. Or evidence. They were at dinner with 10 people when it happened, the parents were not involved.
