We finally dove in...Better Call Saul, streaming on Netflix - we are addicted and binging it!
We tried just after it came out - it was too close to Breaking Bad, and too differently paced - so we let it go....
A few weeks ago, searching for something to watch that is a series, we tried again - and this time, we really got hooked. It is not fast paced, really develops the characters and lets the stories unwind and breathe.
Incredible acting and writing, some really funny scenes, some really sad ones too. We are half way through season 2 and are getting through 2 to 3 per night.

(31,802 posts)same problem. English royalty has never exactly been my cup of tea (no pun intended), but this look into the reign of Elizabeth II is fascinating. One learns several bits of royal trivia and British government in every episode. I like "The Favourite" for the same reason.

(60,011 posts)Vince Gilligan is an incredible producer/writer. The camera angles, the colors, the pacing, everything is perfect.
Not to mention Bob Odenkirk's heartbreaking acting.
Can't wait for Season 5 premier, should be soon this spring.
As much as I like Billions and Peaky Blinders, BCSaul would be my desert Island pick.
Meanwhile, I am re-watching The Wire. Appreciating new perspectives about it, and the awesome quality.
