Hoarders - Prime Video
Jeez, I'm enjoying this series.
First, not a hoarder, but living with just the Skippa in charge, we aren't the best cleaners. But absolutely no hoarding. I got too much stuff already.
Why I really like this. Real life human families disrupted by a family hoarder. Every show, while scripted, has an entirely different human/family experience. Sometimes the results aren't what the script wants. But I think these folks that tackle these problems are doing God's work.
Plus, 1-800-GOT JUNK is getting a lotta great marketing. I bet business is pretty good for this company,

(53,783 posts)It makes them feel safe and powerful to be in control of so many things that they can arrange just the way they like them. They draw more power because hoarding makes the junk more important than any family or people they live with. They're kind of narcissistic/self-centered in that regard. Hoarders are control freaks even though it appears their residence is out of control.

It is sad because it looks like people are trying to replace a loss.
