If you've not watched Andor yet, the first 3 episodes are free right now on YouTube

Season 2 drops next month so I guess Disney is trying to get as many new eyes as possible on the show. It is one of the best TV shows I’ve ever seen, possibly even tying with Deadwood as my favorite. Highly, highly recommended! It’s not campy, alien-filled, typical Star Wars-y. It’s a grittier, more realistic story of how the authoritarian Empire and their corporate subsidies pushed the people too damn far and why, and how, they started to fight back.

Very fitting, eh?

The season unfolds in three arcs and, to be honest, this first one was my least favorite– but that’s only because the other two arcs are so effin’ good! It’s intense, exciting, fantastic storytelling. Emphasis on ‘intense.’ The cinematography and acting are great, as well. I hadn’t rewatched these particular episodes since my first viewing and enjoyed them even more on this second watch (I have rewatched the other episodes/arcs several times).

The rest of the first season is going to be on Hulu soon, too. It’s definitely worth checking out the rest of the show. Looking very forward to Season 2!
