Hulu to include ads in 'no ads' or 'ad free' subscriptions
Just received a "We're Updating Our Subscriber Agreement" email, which includes the following:
Paying to see ads.
Others are sure to follow suit.

(39,435 posts)These corporations know that television advertising has the power to make people do irrational things and they won't give that up. It's more important to them than any profits they'd make offering a no advertising option.

Hated the loud blaring jolt to my nervous system and destruction of the mood I was in.
Happily, internet solved the problem, and I've always been an avid reader.

(39,435 posts)Our television plays DVDs and no-advertising Netflix. That's all it does. We don't have cable, satellite, or broadcast television.
We have subscribed to other no-advertising streaming services but never for long since we just don't watch that much television.
