Turning Point: The bomb and the cold war
Excellent Netflix documentary. Long ( in 9 parts) A lot of history told in a grim and engaging way.

(28,361 posts)1. Should be taught in history classes...excellent overview of world history over the past 100 years.
I learned a lot and I lived through much of it.

I've only gotten through one episode, but it was chilling to me and like you, I've live through most of it. There's that old saying, history repeats itself and that's what's so chilling. I would suggest everyone on DU that has Netflix should watch it. This is what we are going to have to face if we don't win in November.
It's a compelling and relevant to the future.
