May December (Netflix) - Nope. We didn't care for it at all.
Felt like it would never end, acting felt off, music was awful...yuck,

(9,095 posts)I agree 100%!
I was really looking forward to it. What a huge disappointment. It was just a bad movie.
I can't believe Rotten Tomatos has it at a 92/86%. It sucked!

(12,877 posts)The acting and direction were really well-measured and nuanced. I think the three leads will be Oscar nominees. As the aftermath to a sexual crime, I knew it would be disturbing and every scene has a tension that is cut short just before it becomes fatiguing. The characters are revealed as immature adults desperate for connections that they can't achieve because they can't even be honest with themselves. This is a piece of difficult, thoughtful filmmaking.
