The Railway Men

This is about the Bhopal disaster. Reviewers remark on the human spirit in the movie but the real story to me was the behavior of a huge American corporation that could not have cared less about the human lives they destroyed - 15,000 dead, many blinded, and children with disabilities.

How this company can continue to exist in this country speaks volumes about the power of corporations. Union Carbide was bought by Dow Chemical and lives on. Do we have no influence of the psychopaths that run these corporations? The government of India no better.

Nothing like three trains on a collision course, a jeep accident and heroes putting trains together while inhaling cyanide gas. It was a thriller though and I enjoyed it, but it does have an action flick feel.
